2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time, requested resource) is processed in server logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses / the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

3. Newsletter & free guide (beehiiv)

If you sign up for the guide/newsletter, we process your email address to send you the guide and emails. Delivery is handled by beehiiv Inc. (USA) as a processor. We use double opt-in: you first receive a confirmation email and are only added after you confirm. To document consent, we store the timestamp and IP address of the sign-up/confirmation. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with future effect — via the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to datenschutz@fluentinhim.com.

If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR). Email is provided via STRATO (Germany/EU).

5. Cookies & analytics

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no personal-tracking analytics.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object, as well as to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy: the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

7. Encryption

This site uses TLS encryption for security.
